Ibiwunmi Akinnola
Ibiwunmi Akinnola nee Braithwaite is a passionate educator, beauty and food enthusiast and advocate for a better tomorrow for the good of all underserved
children and their mothers with over 25 years of cognate experience in early years, primary and and secondary education, beauty and food retail management.
She has a special talent for bringing out the best in others. With her main interest in life, which is giving love, support, and a good time to others. She is focused on understanding, supporting, and encouraging others. She make things happen for people, and get her best personal satisfaction from this.
She is holds a Master of Arts in Education (innovation in learning and Teaching) at the University of South Wales, UK. She obtained the Owner Management Programme (OMP7) Certificate from the Lagos Business School. She obtained a Diploma in Child Care from the United States and Nursery Foundation teaching certificate (0-6 years) from Montessori Centre International, London, England.
With a vast wealth of knowledge, resources, expertise and care in developing good practice in administrative and executive business functions and having carved out a niche as an executive administrator, Mrs Akinnola served as the Interim Administrative Coordinator for Yale-Harvard Leadership Enterprise for African Development.
She is the CEO of CCEP Cleaning, bringing corporate ethics with respect to cleaning and implementing them. She was also an Accredited Safety Audit Agent with Lagos state Safety Commission (LSC). Hence, having accrued years of experience in the corporate world, she understands corporate ethics with respect to cleaning and is able to do this implement.
Itohan Eigbe
Itohan Eigbe is the Director at Starfield Montessori School, Lagos which she started in September of 2011. With over fifteen years of classroom teaching experience in both the United States and Nigeria, she brings a wealth
of knowledge to her role. She holds a BA in Accounting from the University of Wales, Cardiff and earned her AMI Diploma from the Montessori Teacher Training Center of Northern California.
Her passion for the Montessori Method of Education stems from the independence it cultivates in children, the unique nature of the classrooms, and the personal belief that all aspects of the Montessori philosophy makes learning fun and enjoyable for students as well as teachers.
She greatly aspires to see children grow into adults who are independent thinkers, responsible global citizens and compassionate innovators. Believing
the Montessori Method is a great way to achieve this, she participated in establishing the Foundation for Montessori Education in Nigeria (FMEN). She is a lover of visual art, tennis and an avid reader.
Ronald Cilliers
Ronald Cilliers is the Principal of Greenwood House School Lagos. Ronald has experience of about 30 years in education and has taught and managed both public and private institutions. A South African living in Lagos, Ronald is an eager traveller and he believes that education taught in schools is only one of many methods we need to employ, and if possible we should enhance learning through travelling.
